Question and Hypothesis
Is this water of Bull Run Creek getting more acidic? That’s the question I’m going to answer. I think the water in the creek isn’t changing, and is mostly staying the same. The water is neither getting more nor less acidic. It’s simply staying around the same Ph level without changing.

Background
The creek has been observed by the environmental club at my high school. They’ve done various tests on the water in the creek, coming up with many amounts of results from them. Some of these tests involve the Ph levels of the creek.

Data
The graph above shows the results of all the tests. The Ph had began to get less acidic. It stayed that way for a good amount of time. However, with the most recent test, the Ph levels have gone back down. That was only one of the many tests performed though. Many of the tests provide results that can fit their own hypothesis.

Conclusion
In conclusion, I’ve found an answer to both my hypothesis and question. The creek has not been getting more acidic, and the hypothesis was correct. The graph above shows this. It shows how the Ph had originally increased by a small amount, before returning back to what it was. It shows the river has stayed the same instead of getting more or less acidic. This is important to know for the life in the creek. It shows that the water isn’t acidic in the end. It is showing that the animals living within the creek aren’t living in any acidic water.
